(Az-Zukhuruf) 43 : 31
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ

And they asked: “Why is this Reading not sent down upon any great man among these two towns?”

The question of the original disbelievers (Fujjar) who do not approve Adhikr as the Splendid Book—as told in verses 41: 41-43—the Guidance for the entire mankind as told in verse 2: 185, the Ticket to Paradise as told in verses 73: 19 and 76: 29, as well as the Food, Cloth, and Sight of the human soul as explained in verse 7: 26, is: “Why doesn’t anyone we consider a scholar say what Adhikr says?” Their response is as if they have not even heard of a Book named Adhikr. Actually, they have read verse 41: 41 which says that Adhikr is the Splendid Book. As told in verse 7: 37, they will die witnessing against their own souls that indeed, they were disbelievers. They are welcoming the thirtieth pseudo-prophet, Antichrist, and, at the second coming of Jesus, they will be killed by other people of the Messenger Muhammad—such as Jains, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Christians, etc.—who will approve Islam; thus the command of verses 4: 91; 5: 33; 9: 5, 123; and 33: 60-61 will be implemented. These worst people mentioned in verse 8: 22—who are hiding and rejecting Adhikr, which is the Shield and Safeguard against all calamities, disasters, illness, and Hellfire—are the fuel of the Fire as explained in verse 3: 10. See explanation 10: 15-16; 38: 8; 43: 4-5; and 98: 6.
